Welcome to Explore Learning Borehamwood!

Having launched in early July 2009 Explore Learning in Borehamwood has already generated a large membership, where children can excel in both their educational and social development. The centre has a great team of managers and tutors who generate a vibrant atmosphere, which keeps children focused and engaged, enabling them to enjoy making progress. We are very excited about the improvement our members have made so far, not only in their maths and literacy, but with their confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

We have been spending a lot of time in the community building awareness with local schools, libraries and leisure centres. We look forward to continuing this relationship and developing it throughout the year by holding free workshop events.

We offer families the opportunity to visit the centre to meet our tutors, see the centre in action and find out how we can help your child fulfill their potential.  To book your Free Initial Consultation please call us on 020 3004 0096 or email borehamwood@explorelearning.co.uk

Additional Content

Explore Writing
Explore Writing is ideal for those children who have a great passion for writing and who love to get stuck into a lengthier writing project. It is also fantastic for those who might find creating crazy characters a little bit daunting. In this course we will be looking at many areas of creative writing including newspaper article writing, play script writing and also story writing, breaking each topic down into manageable chunks.

Explore Writing is open to all of our members aged 8 and above. Please let a centre manager know if you would like to secure your child a place on this popular course.

Exam Preparation
Exam prep is open to all members in year 5 looking to sit entrance exams or the 11+. The course covers all areas tested in these exams we look at verbal and non verbal reasoning as well as maths and English. The children are given practice papers, which means we are able to regularly monitor their progress and their application of methods in a test situation.

Exam Prep runs every Tuesday evening, Please speak to a centre manager about more information on getting your child booked onto this course.

Succeed in Secondary
Open to all members in year 6 and beyond, Succeed in Secondary is a course designed to aid the transition between primary and secondary school helping it be as smooth a transition as possible. Through looking at varying and interesting topics we build up and develop several skills such as debating, presentation skills, essay writing and many more. This course is a fantastic way of boosting confidence levels using a hands on approach which will then in turn transfer through into the classroom.

To find out more or to book your child in, please contact a centre manager.
