Explore Writing is the exciting creative writing course open to all members aged 8-14 years old. Exploring a range of writing styles and posing stimulating challenges to stretch every child’s imagination, this course makes creative writing accessible to even the most reluctant authors! Working alongside our tutors, our members craft work they can be really proud of. This course is held every Thursday at 6.45pm and free taster sessions are available to both new families and current members.
Succeed in Secondary- Tuesdays 6.45pm-8pm
This newly launched course is designed to endow children with the key skills necessary for Key Stages 3 and 4. Children in Year 6 and above can come to engage in topical debates, practice researching through a variety of challenging sources, and develop a broad range of presentation skills – all essential as they make the transition between primary and secondary school. This course is held every Tuesday at 6.45pm and free taster sessions are available to both new families and current members.
Bedford Explore and Schools
Explore Learning in Bedford have been very busy visiting schools running free literacy and numeracy workshops. Some of the schools we have visited this term include St John Rigby, Shortstown Lower, Westfields Middle and Shackleton Lower. We are now taking bookings for September and are filling up fast! Open Sessions
The next Open Session for parents is on Wednesday 3rd August 4.30-6pm Bring a Parent! This is a new style of open session where you can bring along family friends who you think might like to join Explore Learning. You will be able to show them around the centre and what work you do with us. With managers on hand to help with any queries about membership. We look forward to seeing you then!

The Bedford team are very excited about visiting some local Beaver, Scout, Brownie and Rainbow groups over the coming weeks to run some literacy workshops. If you are a Brownie, Scout or Beaver leader please contact us on 01234 365905 to see what free workshops we have available!
Now the summer holidays have started we will be starting to travel around the world in Surf Club. Each week we will be looking at a different continent and have lots of exciting activities for you to complete. Don't forget to collect your summer challenge card- each time you complete an activity you get a special stamp and at the end of the holidays you could win an exciting prize!

Succeed in Secondary and Explore Writing will be at their usual time of 6.45-8pm during the holidays. *We will be closed from 7pm on Thursdays for our Explore Writing class.
Children may attend a maximum of 2 sessions per week.
