Kenique Cato
Assistant Director - Ruislip, West London
“I have always had a passion for working with young people. I
feel it’s important to invest in the youth as they are the leaders of the
future. The environment at Explore Learning is not only fun, its stimulating and
nurturing. I enjoy being able to work with all types of children, from those who
are struggling in school and need a little encouragement to those who are
excelling in school and welcome an extra
challenge.”
Kenique graduated from Brunel University with a First Class
Honours in Biomedical Sciences. Whilst in her second year at university,
Kenique worked as a Student Mentor providing advice, support and guidance to
students who were finding it difficult to adjust to university life. In her
final year Kenique worked as a Teaching Assistant with children aged 11-16.
This role involved side by side tuition with underachieving pupils to raise
their interest in learning as well as promoting further education to under
represented ethnic minorities. Kenique was featured in the 2011/12 edition of Future
Leader’s Magazine which profiles 100 of the UK most outstanding black
