Explore Writing (ages 8-14)
At Explore Learning, writing is practised and extended in a variety of ways. During each session our members benefit from interactive and enjoyable reading resources that then test their written comprehension, their creative response (such as continuing a story from a character’s perspective) and their personal response (such as writing an extended piece on how they feel about the story).
Further to this, each centre has a dedicated weekly creative writing class called Explore Writing. Using the dynamic creative writing software Kar2ouche™, this course combines the skills required for writing in the curriculum with animation from the people who brought us the Shrek© movies! This means that whether your child loves writing or finds it a challenge, they will be motivated to produce imaginative and structured work.
