Amy Petterson

Assistant Director - Leicester Fosse Park

“I adore working at Explore Learning, combining a positive attitude and a smile with Maths and English tuition. I aim to provide children with the opportunity to develop, not only academic skills, but also confidence and social skills. To know that I had a positive affect on even one child’s development is what drives my enthusiasm and motivation for Explore Learning.”

Amy graduated from Loughborough University with a BA in Drama. Thrilled to be given the opportunity to work as Assistant Director at Explore Learning, Amy previously worked at the Disney Store and has done a summer working as a Theatre Counsellor in a children’s camp in Connecticut, USA.

Megan Williams

Centre Director - Leicester Fosse Park

“Working for Explore Learning is incredibly rewarding as I get to be a part of team working to help children achieve their potential. It is so inspiring seeing the difference that Explore Learning makes, not only to a child’s education, but also to their confidence and belief in themselves. The most important aspect to me, however, is seeing rows of smiling faces, and the children thoroughly enjoying learning.”

Megan graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 in History and English. Her passion for working with young people began whilst working at Twinlakes Family Park, where she ran birthday parties and helped Santa run his Christmas workshops. During her gap year she explored this further when she taught English in Central America, and worked at a secondary school.  These experiences taught her the value of education, and how important it is that children find their learning fun. Whilst at university Megan also volunteered with a charity, her role was to encourage young people to volunteer.
