Garrath Green

Centre Director

Garrath graduated from Manchester University with a 2.1 in English and Philosophy.  Selected by the Foreign Office and the Japanese Ministry of Education, Garrath spent two years in a remote area of Japan teaching English to students aged 6-16 years old in government schools.  Garrath's proudest achievement was creating and developing a graduated English syllabus for his Elementary School students.

Marion Green

Assistant Director

Marion graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with First Class Honours in International Tourism Management. Throughout her time at University Marion was involved with volunteering projects such as ‘Bring a Book to Life’, where she taught and ran literacy workshops for children at primary schools located in deprived areas of Sheffield. She also developed her passion for working with children through being involved with the Girl Guiding Association as a leader for 8 years.

Jess graduated from Bath Spa University with a 2:1 honours degree in Educational Studies. She has always been enthusiastic about working with children. During her degree Jess taught English in both Spain and South Africa which further developed her understanding and love for international education. Having suffered from acute Dyslexia from an early age Jess has also wanted to help children who have specific learning needs. During her time at university Jess achieved Highly Commended for her university’s Community Volunteer of the Year and BANES’s Young Volunteer of the Year Award 2010, for her work with children in the local community. During her year out before university Jess spent two months working as a Nanny in Australia, this experience developed Jess’s understanding for child develop and progression.
