Celebrating Success with praise and rewards
Children learn best when they want to learn. At Explore, we celebrate success at every opportunity. Children are praised and rewarded with prizes and certificates but more importantly by an Explore tutor saying 'that is fantastic!'
Explore tutors know how to get the best out of children and believe in every child's ability to achieve. Whenever a child completes a task, there is always a tutor on hand to say 'well done' or 'fantastic'. By providing a culture of praise and reward we boost children's self-esteem and inspire them to learn more.
Reward Schemes
We provide a variety of long and short-term incentives to motivate children to give their best in every learning session. They are rewarded for both effort and achievement, and are always encouraged to set new goals and challenges. This helps each and every child take responsibility for his/her own learning.
The Lizard Trails
The Lizard trails are a long-term goal tracking tool that children strive to complete as they make academic progress step-by-step. There are several trails to choose from, which help children focus, not only on what they're learning today, but also on the bigger picture, and the goals they will set next. When these goals are achieved, children receive a certificate for their hard work and effort while all the other members give him/her a huge round of applause.
The Lizard Cards
Every time children successfully complete a task, they earn a Lizard Card. These can be collected or exchanged for prizes. The Lizard Cards inspire children to complete each task successfully.

Explore Learning also uses stickers, stamps and motivational pencil toppers provided by
Great Little Rewards as a way of motivating our members.
